Making the EU's single market fit for the digital age requires tearing down unnecessary regulatory barriers and moving from individual national markets to one single EU-wide rulebook. EU is strengthening its EU4Digital regional networks which are working on jointly agreed priority topics: telecom rules; ICT research, startups and innovation; digital skills; trust services and e-Identification; cybersecurity and eTrade, which includes eCommerce, eCustoms and eLogistics. These networks would serve as platforms for sharing best practices and experiences among eastern European partners and with the EU, promoting synergies and developing joint projects. EDDA is following the development around EU Digital Single Market and aims to promote its expansion beyond the EU borders.
